The Friends of St Peter's Church, Hever is in its infancy. The formation of the Friends has got off to a most encouraging

start. There are already 78 members who together have given or pledged over £2000. But of course we need many

more members.

Why be a Friend?

· Our church is almost 900 years old and is part of our heritage and the rural scene and we wish to see its continued

use.

· We may not all wish to contribute to the religious aspects but would be happy to support the preservation of this

historic and beautiful building for future generations.

· Many people may not be regular worshippers but want the church to be available for family occasions - baptisms,

weddings and funerals.

· It will be a good way to get to know other like-minded villagers.

Whatever your reason - do join us!

Membership of the Friends is open to anyone who would like to join and is prepared to support its objectives. The

minimum annual subscription is £10 (you can of course give more) and using Gift Aid each £1 becomes £1.28.

If you have any queries or require further information Mollie Brudenell, Chairman (01732 863086) or Sue Hart,

Secretary (01732 86812) would be delighted to hear from you.

Donation should be sent to: Friends of St Peter's Church, c/o The Barn, Station Road, Hever, Kent, TN8 7ER If you

require a Gift Aid form please ask and it will be sent to you.
